Are you from Maine originally?
Yes, I am and I lived in many places in Maine. Currently, I live in Westbrook with my mom and Lewiston with my dad.
How did you become a musician? What inspired you?
Well, I am a singer-songwriter and I use distrokid to release my music. I've always wanted to sing and my dream has never changed. Some of my inspirations are Billie Eilish, Easha, Finneas, and Taylor Swift. When I was about 6 years old I got mainly inspired by a move called Lemonade Mouth.
Tell me more about the track you would like to feature in the episode. What was the inspiration behind it and does it tell a story?
The track I would like to feature in the episode is my favorite song of mine and it is called Shy Kid. My inspiration for the song was a song by Finneas and Ashe. Although my song is about a completely different thing, the vibe of that song inspired me. My song is about my shyness and wanting to overcome it because it gets in the way of my dream.
Do you plan to launch new music?
Yes, I plan to launch new music. Right now I'm currently working on growing my audience and trying to promote the songs I have out.
Do you plan to perform live or virtually anywhere in the near future?
Yes, I would love to its hard though because I'm still a kid but I have been thinking of doing a virtual zoom concert. If I did one I would want a better audience though because I don't have a lot of fans yet but I'm getting new ones every month. Also, I want more local fans to listen to my music and that's why I wanted to do this podcast. I think going on this podcast would give me an opportunity to grow my audience and get more involved in the Maine community.
