Frances Mahoney is a third generation, born-and-stayed Mainer and a native of Portland. A graduate of the Maine College of Art with a BFA in Graphic Design, she has spent her professional career in a number of different environments including: marketing, retail, and private design firms. This wide breadth of experience has allowed her to add numerous skills to her repertoire. Although her primary focus is branding, her time in the field has gifted her video and photography experience that coincides with her design work. From lifestyle photography to online video advertising, Frances wears many hats when it comes to her work as a creative. Aside from her love of design is her love of food and local business. This has culminated in the form of FrannieEatsMaine, a local food blog dedicated to keeping tabs on new restaurants and the unique food they serve, as well as the role they play in their communities. Her work with Makers of Maine combines this love of creating with her passion for fellow local creators.
