Justin Smulski
Justin is a photographer and freelance writer based in coastal Maine with a lifelong passion for outdoor adventure and cooking. He grew up in southern New Hampshire and went to college at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He moved to Boston and worked in non-profit operations and logistics before enrolling in culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu. He came to Maine after a few weekend visits to Portland that left him eager for the Pine Tree State's slower pace and better quality of life. Justin's connection to Maine's hospitality industry has taken many forms--chef, wine sales, and gourmet market manager. When not on assignment, he's likely somewhere in the woods drinking wine in crocs by a campfire.
